Alay Buhay Named Among Asia’s Influential NGOs at ACES Awards 2026

Alay Buhay Community Development Foundation, Inc. was recognized as one of the Influential NGOs in Asia at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2026, held on October 15–16, 2026, at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The recognition marks an important milestone for Alay Buhay and affirms nearly four decades of work toward improving the health, livelihood, and well-being of vulnerable communities.
In its evaluation, the ACES Council highlighted the Foundation’s sustained work in tuberculosis screening and health interventions, skills development, community empowerment, and enterprise support. Alay Buhay’s tuberculosis program alone has screened nearly 500,000 individuals across four regions, complemented by the use of AI-enabled X-ray technology to strengthen early detection and treatment compliance.
Beyond health, Alay Buhay continues to strengthen economic resilience through skills development, livelihood opportunities, entrepreneurship, and partnerships with communities and institutions. ACES noted that the Foundation’s work demonstrates measurable community impact and the potential for its approaches to be replicated more broadly.
The Influential NGOs in Asia recognition belongs not only to the Foundation, but also to the communities, partners, and institutions that have worked alongside Alay Buhay through the years.
As Alay Buhay moves forward, the award strengthens its commitment to building partnerships, embracing innovation, and developing sustainable solutions that enable communities to lead healthier and more productive lives.
For Alay Buhay, the recognition is both a celebration of how far the Foundation has come and an inspiration to continue reaching further.
